Thanks
for visiting my site and looking at what I do. Here’s a bit
about me.
Even after more than a decade working in the photographic industry
I still enjoy the challenges involved in making a photograph. Nothing
quite compares to seeing an image come together and subsequently
used to sell a product, promote a service or just look at on the
wall. I think my flair for creating images, my ability to work to
a brief and my collaborative approach all combine to offer a truly
professional service.
In 2005 I took the plunge and invested in a whole bunch of digital
technology. I’m glad I did (Despite my Bank managers grumblings!).
It gives a flexibility that was previously unavailable. Clients
get peace of mind as they can see if an image is 'in the bag' before
the shooting day is finished. No more waiting for the lab!
It’s great to be back in my home city of Bristol after many
years working in London. During my time in the industry I have travelled
internationally on many fashion, portrait and advertising assignments
and I bring that wealth of experience with me on each shoot.
*WARNING,
blatant name dropping about to occur, if you are easily offended,
look away now or go straight to the next paragraph* My
time in London saw me having breakfast with Ulrika Jonsson, coffee
with Rachel Weiss, lunch at Clarence House whilst working with the
Queen Mother, a pint with Kevin Spacey, afternoon tea with the Blairs,
supper with Nicky Clarke and a late night dance with Eva Herzigova
(remember the ‘Hello Boys’ bra campaign?). All this,
fortunately, wasn’t on the same day! I also spent a memorable
weekend in Calcutta whilst assisting top photographer Tony McGee
as we followed Mother Teresa around for Hello! magazine.
Bristol is a great base and the convenient motorway infrastructure
means I’m definitely not limited to the immediate geographic
area. Feel free to contact me wherever you are based.
